Dedicated and experienced professional assistance
Your dedicated health and safety consultant will be an
experienced health and safety practitioner, a Chartered Member of
the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and registered
with the Health and Safety Executives Register of Consultants
(OSHRC). With considerable experience in both the public and
private sectors, our consultants can provide practical solutions to
your health and safety requirements.
"Competent Person"
We will provide you with advice and act as your "Competent
Person" as required under Regulation 7 of the Management of Health
and Safety Regulations 1999.
We also hold construction related competence as defined under
the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.
Telephone and email helpline
Your consultant will provide you with unlimited telephone advice
and support in relation to health and safety issues. You can be
assured that your consultant will understand your business and be
familiar with your systems and procedures.
Initial audit and report
Our consultant will initially visit your premises and conduct a
baseline audit of your current safety management system and
complete a detailed report and action plan highlighting weaknesses
within your system and making recommendations for improvement.
Health & Safety policy and procedures
Your consultant will work with you to review and update or
develop a health and safety policy and other procedures tailored to
your business. Once the necessary safety management systems are in
place, we can advise on how to implement the new systems.
Annual review audit
Your consultant will visit again every 12 months and conduct an
annual review audit with any further issues highlighted in a report
setting our further action and recommendations to ensure full
health and safety compliance.
Complimentary access to our annual update
conference
Each year, we host an annual update conference. This will
bring you up to date with recent changes in employment and health
and safety legislation and we run through key employment tribunal
cases relevant to managing an organisation. Attendance at this
session will ensure that you are fully familiar with any proposed
changes.
Health & Safety updates
You will receive monthly health and safety updates providing
practical guidance and advising of any amendments in case law and
legislation and the possible impact on your organisation. In
addition to this, where we identify specific and topical areas for
concern, we will send safety alerts to keep you up to date.
Health & Safety training
We can provide in-house health and safety awareness training
tailored to your requirements. All training courses are run by
qualified and experienced safety practitioners. Our health and
safety training programme is extensive and includes manual

Health & Safety consultancy services
There may be occasions outside of the annual audit when you need
on-site assistance. Our consultants can attend on-site and provide
guidance on health and safety issues that you need assistance on.
You can build in a set number of scheduled consultancy days at
commencement of the agreement or request the services on an ad hoc
basis. This aspect of the service is ideal for those requiring
additional support in system implementation, risk assessment
assistance, pre-tender and tender application support including
assistance with pre-qualification questionnaires, assistance with
third party assessment scheme applications, the development of
management systems in accordance with the requirements of OHSAS
18001, contractor management procedures and other specific
